Doç. Dr. Ece Baş Süzel

Associate Professor Dr. Ece Baş Süzel obtained her LL.B. degree from Bahcesehir University Faculty of Law in 2009 as valedictorian of her class. She obtained her LL.M. degree from Bahcesehir University Faculty of Law in 2011 with her thesis entitled “Bina ve Yapı Eserlerinden Doğan Sorumluluk” [Liability for Buildings and Structures], with highest score in her class. In 2015, she received her Ph.D. degree in private law from Istanbul University with her thesis entitled “Gerçek Olmayan Vekâletsiz İş Görme ve Menfaat Devri” [False Agency Without Specific Authorization and Disgorgement of Profits].

Associate Professor Dr. Baş Süzel joined the faculty of Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law in 2010 as a research assistant to the Civil Law department. She was appointed as Dr. Faculty Member in 2015 and as associate professor in 2019. She acted as the Assistant Dean of Faculty between 2020-2021.
